6 in 1 Nested Kit

SoarnEagle’s 6 in 1 Nested Kit

I have made and remade my personal E-Kit over the past 15 years in order to find what worked “perfectly” for me. I have finally come up with something that I am not only very satisfied with, but it also is very organized. This makes it simple to find items quickly and easily. In addition, because this kit is made up of separate components, I can take what I need without carrying the entire kit all the time.

The main component of this kit… and what everything else centers around is my “Maxi Kit”. It is one piece that I never go anywhere without! The Maxi kit is approximately the size of a woman’s purse and only weighs about 3 pounds. It contains everything that I need to survive in comfort until help arrives. With it I can make a shelter, start a fire, gather water, and make camp tools. It also has a small First Aid Kit (FAK), Survival cards giving ideas of how to do things, and many other goodies to make life more pleasant in a Bushcraft Situation.

The rest of the complete kit includes a comprehensive First Aid Kit, a Shelter Kit, a Cook Kit, a Personal Kit, and a Complete Fire Kit (including 6 different ways to make a fire in any situation and a way to make more
char cloth if I were to need it). The whole kit is definitely not a mini, maxi, or day kit. It is capable of sustaining one almost indefinitely in a Bug Out situation. It is designed for redundancy, so you will see things 2 or 3 times in different kits. The purpose for this is that each of 4 kits (not the 1st Aid or Food) can operate independently if necessary from the rest of the pack. Please note that some of the items in the Maxi Kit are found in other kits. I have made note as to which items are found in the Maxi Kit so as not to cause confusion, but I have included them in the proper “Nested Kit” for a complete overview of what I carry.

Best of all the kit is compact. It all packs in a day kit (without clothing) and weighs in at only 15 lbs for the main kit, and about 7.5 lbs for the Shelter Kit. I will separate each component for you with pictures and a brief breakdown of what is included in each kit. At the end I will show you all of the nested kits and how they fit into the whole pack. So let’s take a look at SoranEagle’s Nested Kit!

  1. Wonderful goods from you, man. I have have in mind your stuff prior to and you are simply extremely great. I really like what you’ve acquired here, really like what you are stating and the way in which by which you say it. You are making it entertaining and you continue to care for to stay it wise. I can not wait to learn much more from you. This is really a great web site.

  2. Normally I don’t read post on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very forced me to take a look at and do it! Your writing taste has been surprised me. Thank you, quite great article.

  3. Thank you for any other informative website. Where else may just I am getting that kind of information written in such an ideal manner? I’ve a project that I am simply now working on, and I’ve been on the look out for such information.

  4. thank you. I will make a study of this and put together some kits. some of the things i do not know where to get them from.

i came to your website because i am doing a study of acorns and would like any information
i can get. i want to make bread with acorn flower and not use wheat.

i am not one to leave notes and do not know why i am now

  5. I would like to leave a note here about your kits. your kits are put together very well and i will use some of your methods. I have seen a lot of, go kits, and some are good and some not.
No one puts soap in their kit, or a sink made from a water jug like the two gallon ones. no one puts rags to use for any thing. no one puts light in their kit, walmart and dollartree have outdoor lights that recharge in sun light and can charge your battery light if you use aaa battery. also a phone book to use for t paper would be good.

  6. “6 in 1 Nested Kit | Bushcraft On Fire” ended up being a good post.
If perhaps it possessed much more photographs it would be even much better.

  7. It alpso has 480 x 800 pixels high fish kebabs screen resolution.
Be sure to make the most of any back end daytime hatches, especially with a project deadline looming large on the horizon.
Glenn: A lot of heavy action because you’re using like 20
pound test line or better and you’re pulling those fish out of the water and await the next customer.
